Rabat – The Green OpenLab Foundation announced the inauguration of AgriExpo Sefrou 2023, an event aiming to promote the integration of innovation into agriculture in the country.

The event is set to take place at the FirmaTech Campus in Sefrou, Morocco, on December 19-20, according to a statement from organizers.

Aiming to harness innovation, foster youth entrepreneurship, and modernize Moroccan, AgriExpo Sefrou 2023 “promises a dynamic two-day program poised to reshape the agricultural landscape,” the statement says.

Slated for Tuesday, the first day will start with an opening session featuring welcome speeches, official presentations, and agreements inked with industry partners. The morning’s centerpiece will be a keynote address delivered by an expert, delving into the challenges and requisites of tomorrow’s farmers.

In addition, the morning plenary will cover the role of the Tech ecosystem in Morocco’s agricultural development, showcasing insights from a variety of speakers.

The Afternoon sessions will spotlight innovative projects in collaboration with industry giants, accompanied by live demonstrations and interactive networking opportunities, the statement adds.

Day two of the event will also see a keynote from a distinguished expert who will talk about an AgriTech initiative in the Fes-Meknes region, followed by partnership signings.

In addition, the second says of the event will feature a review of workshops centered on the olive oil value chain in the Fes-Meknes region, conducted by an international firm.

The day’s plenary will focus on the role of young entrepreneurs in modernizing agricultural value chains, and engaging key sector players.

An olive oil producers’ competition will take place in the afternoon, followed by the unveiling of the Green Open Challenge, a project in collaboration with influential entities, the statement adds.

The Green OpenLab Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on promoting youth entrepreneurship in rural areas.
