Rabat – Israeli occupation forces are seeking to expand their illegal settlements to include the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media quoted Social Equality Minister Amichai Chikli as saying that he does not rule out Israeli settlements in certain parts of Gaza.
The Israeli minister, who is a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party, accused the Palestinian Authority of inciting “murder of Jews” and vowed that it will not “take part in the running of Gaza after the war,” according to the Times of Israel.
“We didn’t pay with the blood of our best sons so that they get the control,” he claimed.

Chikli’s remarks came weeks after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the occupation forces do not intend to “occupy” or govern Gaza after the disastrous Israeli war.
He claimed that occupation forces are seeking to “demilitarize” and rebuild the region.
The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their war against Palestinians over the past weeks, demolishing and destroying countless residential houses, schools, shelters, mosques, and other civilian spaces.
Israeli occupation forces have killed over 12,600 people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, while more than 50,000 people have been injured.
A large number of people are still missing or beneath the rubble in the besieged strip.
On Thursday, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini spoke to Al Jazeera about the situation, describing the situation in Gaza as “absolutely unprecedented and staggering.”
