Rabat – The cycle of violence in the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) ongoing genocide has intensified, with IOF carrying out lethal and deadly raids across the West Bank and airstrikes in Gaza, leading to a mounting death toll.
In the last week alone, 33 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank as Israeli military operations sweep through the occupied territory.
On Wednesday, two Palestinian men were killed in the Dhnaba suburb, east of Tulkarem, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. This murderous attack follows the killing of a 16-year-old girl in Kfar Dan, located in the Jenin governorate, also attributed to Israeli military action.
In a separate incident, an IOF overnight airstrike on Tulkarem killed15-year-old Palestinian boy, hospital sources in the city reported.
Israel has maintained that its brutal aggression is focused on targeting militants, although the number of civilian casualties continues to rise.
Since the military aggression began last Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that 33 people have been killed and over 130 others injured in the West Bank.
The raids, which Israeli authorities describe as efforts to dismantle militant networks, have also led to mass detentions. The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society reports that at least 30 people were detained overnight on Tuesday, including children and former prisoners.
The total number of arrests in the West Bank since October 7 now exceeds 10,400, the organization added.
The situation in Gaza remains dire as well, with civil defense teams continuing to dig through rubble in search of survivors after an IOF airstrike demolished Namaa College in Gaza City.
At least six people were killed in the bombing, with dozens more injured, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza, which has now entered its 11th month, shows no signs of abating. The toll on Gaza’s civilian population has been catastrophic, with over 40,819 Palestinians killed, and many more presumed dead missing under the rubble.
