Rabat – Niger and Ghana will face off today as part of their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier game.
Ghana wants to secure a pride victory after failing to qualify for the tournament, while Niger wants to end its qualifying campaign on a high note.
The match, which will take place today at 5 p.m. at the Accra stadium in Ghana. Fans who can’t catch the action live can stream the game on both beIN Sports and the Vavel platform.
Despite Ghana’s disappointment, Coach Otto Addo has defended his team, saying he wants the match to serve as a means to regain the support of the fans.
“Most people judge me by results that haven’t been good, but I have friends and mentors like Sammer and Jurgen Klopp under whom I trained as an assistant coach at Dortmund,” the Ghanaian coach said to the press.
He added that the feedback is what he values, not the opinions of those who criticize from afar.
