Rabat – The National Social Entrepreneurship Seminar (SNES 2025) brought yesterday over 700 young leaders from across Morocco today at Mohammed V University’s Faculty of Sciences Rabat.
Organized by Enactus, the SNES 2025 is a significant event aimed at fostering innovation and sustainable development among the country’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
Saif Eddine Laalej, Operation Manager at Enactus, spoke to Morocco World News (MWN) on the significance of the summit as a crucial platform for connecting Morocco’s brightest young minds with the tools and networks they need to drive social change.
“More than 700 students and youth coming from all over Morocco…to meet and network with different experiences, mentors, and leaders in order to create a better future for our Morocco and our world,” he told MWN.
The day-long program featured interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions focused on emerging technologies and social innovation.
A highlight of the event was the “Skills 2.0: AI as an Opportunity Catalyst” workshop, where participants learned practical approaches to incorporating artificial intelligence into social impact projects.


Mehdi Bahraoui Jazouli a panel speaker in SNES 2025 shared his insights on the event with MWN, saying: “The seminar was very interesting and I appreciate the dynamic of the youth, the envy to go to entrepreneurship journey which is not an easy journey but I feel the energy, the courage, the audacity to go there.”
During the panel, Jazouli shared his entrepreneurial journey to hopefully inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
“Morocco’s vision for 2030 and beyond is huge, very open, and strongly connected to international opportunities,” Jazouli explained, urging young people to act quickly on emerging possibilities.
He pointed to Enactus as a model for youth empowerment, demonstrating how young Moroccans can build confidence in their entrepreneurial abilities.

The summit brought together participants from all 12 Morocco regions, reflecting a nationwide commitment to social entrepreneurship.
Industry experts and successful entrepreneurs shared also their experiences, guiding aspiring future social entrepreneurs.

“Today is actually an opportunity for us to meet all the other, and actors all over Morocco,” El Hassani Malak told MWN, adding that “seeing former Enactus members who are now entrepreneurs gives us hope to continue what we’re doing.”
Malak added that the summit “gives us help to continue what we’re doing. We have so many projects in our Enactus and meeting others in today’s event is an opportunity to understand how important social impact is and how important our work is.”
The student leader described the seminar as a crucial learning opportunity for understanding how to amplify social impact and effectively communicate with communities.
“It’s good to make money through entrepreneurship, but it’s also good to impact people,” Malak noted, capturing the event’s focus on combining business success with meaningful social change.
Since its establishment in 2003, Enactus Morocco has trained over 120,000 young people and supported approximately 600 high-impact projects annually. The organization has helped launch more than 100 sustainable startups since 2015.

The event reflects Morocco’s growing focus on social entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development and social change, with participants expressing optimism about the future of social innovation in the country.
