Rabat — Oussama Targhalline is joining Dutch side Feyenoord Rotterdam for an undisclosed fee from French club Le Havre.
In an interview with Feyenoord on social media, Targhalline said: “I am proud to be here and eager to join club.”
Feyenoord has already tried to sign the 22-year-old after he starred at the Paris Olympic Games, but the move did not go through.
Targhalline can play as a deep-lying defensive midfielder and also as a progressive, box-to-box playmaker with his high energy, press-resistant skills, and sharp vision to feed attackers through-balls.
The starlet was born in Morocco and trained at the elite Mohammed VI Academy in Rabat before heading to Europe. He joined Olympique de Marseille in 2020 but had limited playtime in Ligue 1, making just two appearances.

In 2022, Targhalline had a short loan spell in Turkiye with Alanyaspor, playing six games. But his big break came in 2023, when he moved to Le Havre in Ligue 2.
Over two seasons, he became a key player in midfield, helping his team earn a promotion to Ligue 1 and playing over 40 league games, scoring once.
Now that Feyenoord have snapped him up, Targhalline will hope to continue the momentum and shine in the Eredivisie.
Targhalline hasn’t made a name for himself just on club level, but also for Morocco at U17, U20, and U23 youth setups. In 2023, he was the hero of the U23 African Cup of Nations final, scoring the winning goal in extra-time against Egypt. In September 2024, he made his senior debut for Morocco in an AFCON qualifier against Lesotho.
